The service wasn’t great and same with our food. We sat at the bar thinking we’d be served quickly but took a little over 5 minutes to even acknowledge us. The beer was good but the margarita wasn’t made fresh, came from a pitcher that must’ve been premade from back in the kitchen. We got chips and salsa and the chips were extremely stale. The cheese sauce was pretty decent. Our steak quesadilla took awhile to make and came out cold with the cheese inside not melted. Also was mainly grilled vegetables with a few pieces of steak. The servers that were working were nice but we had to ask them for stuff vs them serving us.
The service it’s great. Food doesn’t come right away, because they cooked at the moment. The taste of food it’s original. The soup it’s very tasty, the pupusas are delicious. Not to mention the chicken wings, are very crunchy and good. And the corn atole, perfect for the cold weather. I strongly recommend this restaurant, very authentic.
Came yesterday around 4:40pm. We all ordered pupusas (chicharrón w/cheese) and while I recognize it can take a while for them to cook these, we were waiting for close to 30 minutes for our food. In the meantime, they gave us chips with queso and a red sauce. The chips were stale and I did not care for the red sauce. The pupusas had good texture, good amount of cheese, but they had little chicharrón and lacked a little seasoning/ flavor. The curtido (pickled cabbage) was good. While we were seated immediately and our server was polite, there were some areas where service fell short. When the food did come out, we still hadn’t received our cutlery. Luckily, they noticed and kindly offered to bring us some. Our server not once came back to check on us during our meal and I felt it was diffi
Tour around central America. Menu sections from, El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Clever, very clever. The El Salvador chorizo/eggs plate is VERY delicious! Can't put my finger on it, but there's a distinct flavor that really keeps you wanting more!
Don’t come to this one. Go to the one in Bloomington, it’s much better service! You can order right when you walk in and go sit down. the curtido that comes with the pupusas is soo much more flavorful! I came on a Friday night and sat for 15 minutes and no one even offered me a drink!
