El Greco Restaurant

A friend from work told me about this spot, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I mainly went for the desserts, but while I was there, I figured I might as well try the food too. I ended up ordering the chicken kabob meal along with a Greek salad and a cheesecake. Both were delicious! I was really happy with my choices, and unlike many places, they don't skimp on dessert portions just to make it look appealing. You get a generous slice. That being said, I will definitely go back and try something different on the menu. They got my attention. It was given a real diner type vibe. I could respect it.

Come here often, service is not good but im not the type complain over small things, but every time they serve coffee they never ask again if you want more and never stop by your table and its every time not just an incident. Today the lady tried bringing us old coffee from another table someone left. Then we waited 37min for our food that never arrived. We paid the coffee and left after we explained, all we got was 'oh ok, have a nice day'. Were never coming back.

EXTREMELY rude to my party of 8 and wanted to be argumentative. I will never spend my money where I’m not welcomed in the door. It’s busy on a Sunday and can be very tight at the door, but no reason to be rude and yell “go eat at another restaurant then!” From the owner….whom didn’t take the time to address the table count mix up properly. Black people are not respected here, but they welcome our money. Stop allowing these people to remain in our community and be aggressive and we still support. Time for them to go if we are not welcomed. Better off going to Mykonos!!! Never busy and always pleasant!!

We've been going to El Grecos for years. Great food, service, atmosphere. Friendly staff and amazing owners!! Miss some of my favorite entrees that are no longer on the menu. Hope they will come back on the menu some day. Like Chicken Francaise, Stuffed salmon, the Thursday night special that was like a pot roast with veggies and potatoes.

My first time ever visiting here. This place has a long history in Milwaukee. It used to be the spot to go to after the clubs closed, and many notable celebrities have visited there. It's obvious they've had to change with the times and shenanigans of folks over time.
