Customer Reviews
Great little taqueria, good food options with decent pricing. We live up the street so we have been here a few times. It is a small shop so there’s limited seating availability. It is also just screened-in so there isn’t much air conditioning. The first time we came there were a lot of flies inside, but they were gone when we came back a few weeks later. The food is good albeit a little high priced. If you live in the area, it’s worth a try!
Sometimes, you need to remember what an old-fashioned taco stand felt like. A hard bench and a table for elbows. The authentic taste of care delivered with pride. The carnitas were delicious, very lean and not overly salted. The refried beans were creamy and just like they should be. Generous portions of crema and avocado sauce. I ate enthusiastically and was very happy with my meal.
Im bummed I used to live across the street and came here often. Went recently and first thing I noticed was dinner time had very few ppl this wasn't the case when I was across the street i should have taken a hint. Ordered nachos and the guac was brown and oxidized which happens but also tasted funky tried to scrape it off but that wasnt enough. Ended up with food poisoning. Not sure if it was the guacamole or something else but the guacamole was red flag. Not happy this place is off my list.
When they get it right, this place is so worth it. However, if you don’t speak Spanish, expect them to screw up your order. Ordering a Baby Carnitas Burrito, I confirmed the ingredients and was told, “rice, bean and cheese.” “And meat?” I asked? “I want a baby carnitas.” “Absolutely,” the waitress said. Got home and ate half of the burrito (at first only getting rice), so I continued until an inch before I had finished and realized there never any meat added. It was just “rice, beans, and cheese.” Lesson learned; I either have to speak fluent Spanish or go with someone who does.
Pretty good Mexican burrito stand. Used to be a little better. Clean establishment. Friendly and polite staff. Fast service. Could use some more outdoor seating. Good menu, but needs crispy tacos and taquitos. Convenient location and a tasty authentic Mexican option in a pinch.
