I ordered The El Gordo Fajitas would not recommend it's says it comes with steak chicken shrimp Mexican sausage sausage and ham..... First of all it was hot dogs and lunch meat ham sliced. Then have the nerve to charge 20 with hot dogs and lunch meat ham. Booooooooooo will not eat here again

Honestly the food was outstandingly good. The guacamole, salas, and my food was all fresh and was very tasty. The service was great. I'd definitely come if ever in the area in the future!

Not very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Order placed and food delivered fast. Everything was so fresh. Pics are Tacos de Lengua, and spicy pork, with Alitas and beans and rice. Also got a perfectly made Michelada that washed it all down. Definitely will be back next time we are in Hopewell.

El Gordo (the restaurant attached to La Bodega) is such a good little spot. Plenty of menu options to choose from so there’s something for everyone! Beer selection is wonderful, they’ve got imports as well as domestic beers and seltzers. The soda selection is also incredible- even got a banana flavored soda! My partner got the chicken gorditas, and I got the hamberguesa; both came out relatively quickly (10-15min.) They also have a small fridge stocked with housemade salsas, cilantro, limes, pickled veggies, and more! I’ll definitely be back to try my way around the menu.

Love this place. I ordered my 3 pork tacos with rice and black beans. It was $13. Not bad. So flavorful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They also have paletas! And all my favorite Mexican treats I enjoyed as a kid.
