El Fogón Restaurant

We stopped in and tried their sandwiches. We had the sandwich , the Cuban sandwich, and we also had the pan c/bistec steak sandwich hansy vista steak, sandwich. Tried some of their hot sauces. They are really good but not Texas hot. Lol. This is a quite place and was slow when we came in. The waitress is very sweet. Did. Ot speak much engalish but we were able to talk just fine. So come by and ask for Maria.

We we're visiting from Michigan & decided to try something different chose this Restaurant & just as the reviews showed this place was well worth it ALL THE FOOD WAS FLOWING WITH FLAVOR & THE OWNER & HIS WIFE WERE SO NICE & CORDIAL

Staying at the Holiday Inn next four and could ask for a better place to eat at, I love to come here for dinner. Real food with an authentic taste. 10/10 would come back every night. Cold beer with a frosted mug.

One of the best meals I've had in months - truly. The owner was kind and attentive, walked us through the menu. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. I had the ropa vieja with fried plantains (maduros) and black beans & rice, followed by cuatro leches (because who wants TRES leches when you can have CUATRO?) and cafe Cubano? My friend had the Picaña with maduros and black rice, followed by torreja. Nothing left on our plates. I'm stuffed. I'm happy. Best Cuban meal I've ever had!

On our first visit we were welcomed as if we were family. The food is extraordinary and we will most definitely be back. They went out of their way to make us comfortable given the dining restrictions of the hotel we were staying in. And if you are so inclined, the white wine sangria was amazing! I can’t wait for the Spanish tortilla for breakfast tomorrow! And oh! Lunch specials!!! You know where to find me….
