El Faro Tacos

We love El Faro Tacos! They make the best al pastor tacos in the valley. I know because I order at least one at every taco spot I visit. Their asada is good too, but their seafood seems like an afterthought. Tacos, quesadillas, and tortas are the way to go here. Their green sauce is on point and the toppings are always fresh. Their drinks seem a little pricey, though. They're always busy, so you know nothing is sitting around getting old.

Was hesitant with this spot based off the outside of the building but I’m glad we made the decision to actually stay and eat. Great hole in the wall place. The flavor of the quesadilla wasn’t bland like most places are. Had tons of flavor and their salsa was just right. Not too spicy to handle. Greatly recommend.

This restaurant also has a food truck where I took my wife last night after picking her family up last night at the Van Nuys flyaway. The taco truck is setup near her mom house so it was convenient. We came a little before midnight and they are still open. I found parking in the small street this truck is setup in. My wife got some carne asada tacos, mulita, her mom got chicken tacos and her brother got their burrito. This is cash only so be aware of you didn't know. They made everyone orders quickly and give a lot of salsa. We took it home to eat and everyone enjoyed their meal.

the place was not bad. i had 3 tacos, asada, cabeza, & tripa which was my least favorite. the small agua frescas are a decent size for the price but the menu says $3.00 & when she rung me up it was $3.50. i had the horchata which was a little too sweet for me. they have a card transaction fee of only .35¢. another thing i didn’t like was that they didn’t mention the tripa was also .50¢ extra which is not much but it’s not advertised. parking is garbage!! i’d place the order in advanced to pick it up but the food was good overall.

Got a carne asada quesadilla, a pastor taco and a large horchata. Everything was DELICIOUS. estaba muy Rico. I wanted to cry the quesadilla was so good. Especially with some salsa Verde and grilled onions. The pastor was bomb!!! The piña on top was a pleasant surprise but not distracting from the flavor. Paid $18 for all 3 but I would be full of just the quesadilla next time. Amazing. The lady up front was nice and welcoming too.
