The mojito had the perfect kick—refreshing, bold, and balanced with just the right amount of heat. The mofongo was everything it should be: savory, comforting, and full of that classic Puerto Rican soul. The fried pork was tender and flavorful, and the mofongo itself had that ideal texture that’s hard to find outside the island. My first time visiting and this place was amazing. Very clean and beautiful inside and the food was so good i’ll have to drive back when the weather is warm to sit outside. i had the dufongo with cubed steak and spicy mango mojito and wish i had a bigger stomach to eat it all + desert.

I ate there this past Saturday with my family and the food was delicious!! Mojitos were great, the Puerto Rican moonshine “pitorro” was strong as hell. The appetizer with fried cheese was very tasteful. 5 stars on the food overall. It was packed so the service was a little slow but we hung in there. The atmosphere was good, more could be done to help dampen the sound because it echos like crazy and when you have a bunch of ppl in there you can be speaking loudly and still not be heard. Overall I loved it. I’m sure they’ll make this place even better once things fall into place. Great job to the staff.

A lovely cross-cultural dining experience. I let the young woman who was running the dining room know that I had never had Puerto Rican food before and she steered me to some of the traditional staples. When the food came out, she walked me through how the parts were traditionally used together (which is always a point of anxiety for me). This was not an immediate kick-in-the-face for flavor, but rather subtle flavors that stacked as the meal went on. E.g., by the end of the meal, the spice from the red-beans and rice started to persist on the palette, changing the flavor of everything else. The fried pork chop had a different texture and flavor near the bone so that it didn't feel monotonous. My only regret is that I arrived too close to closing, so I couldn't slow down, have a seco

Super authentic delicious Puerto Rican food. Great hospitality, genuine customer service. The coffee was perfect. My food was to go but I will definitely make the 1 and 1/2 hour drive to revisit because I could have sworn my mother made it. I will be back again to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
