El Charro

The salsa and chips were good, along with the cheese dip! The menu was one of the best I've ever seen at a restaurant! Short, simple, and lots of photos! The food was ok, nothing fancy, nothing to "wow" your taste buds! The presentation was better than the flavors, by far! Our expectations were nothing going in, but we filled up and left for the day! Parking was plentiful and easily accessed! Service was ok and disappointing since the restaurant was nearly empty. Waiting for drinks was completely unnecessary!

Update: we went today and split the bareia tacos, very good! Surprised by this Mexican establishment in Nixa. Service was ok, food plentiful and good except the black beans were very salty and could hardly be eaten. The rest of the meals were great!

Peaceful , you don't feel rushed out of restaurant after eating. Very inviting environment I really enjoyed the food very much everything was cooked to perfection, this place rivals the top Mexican restaurants in the country great taste and flavor!!! My new favorite place to eat!!

El Carro Mexican Restaurant in Nixa, MO. Servers were friendly. Service was quick. Food arrived quickly. Food was fresh and delicious. Great experience. Best Sopaipilla, I have ever had. Light, flaky and perfectly cooked. Perfectly delicious.

This is easily mine and my fiancé's favorite restaurant. I've never had anything here that was not exceptional, including the service!! The prices are great, best margaritas, and the food is always huge portions and fantastic. I love this place.
