El Cañon Mexican Restaurant

The service here is tremendous! Sometimes it can be a little loud, but the food is tasty. So glad to have a Mexican restaurant in this area!

The service is always decent and the small bit of outdoor seating is nice if you’re looking for a quick stop for a marg on a summer day. But the food has always been underwhelming and often under seasoned. I have ordered fajitas a couple times that felt like they weren’t salted at all and they were overly oily. It isn’t terrible, but there is much better Mexican food in grove city.

A nice, clean, modern restaurant--festively decorated--just off I-71 in a suburb south of Columbus. The service was slow but the food mostly delicious. The menu was extensive with typical Mexican dishes and a large selection of unusual fish and seafood entrees. I had a tilapia fillet with a broccoli salad that was very good. The salad had finely chopped jalapeno which made it spicy but not overwhelming. I was surprised to see broccoli on the menu of a Mexican restaurant. My wife liked her custom-ordered quesadilla with mushrooms, beans, cheese, and caramelized onions. Her custom-ordered taco with lettuce and avocado was not a success: the taco shell stale, the filling mostly lettuce, and hardly a tablespoon of avocado.

Really good! It’s not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but it’s the best I’ve had in the Columbus area. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked really well. Chips and salsa were fresh and my pork was SUPER tender. Margarita was delicious too. Will definitely return. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes.

Been here a few times now very smaller Mexican restaurant food is fresh flavorful and service is fast friendly helpful attentive menu is a good size overall highly recommend this restaurant establishment.
