El Capitan

My family and I headed over to El Capitan for lunch today. The place is super cute, but our service was ok. Our order had multiple mistakes, our waiter refused to bring us lemons when requested for our water and told my brother she would charge us if she took us any. We also made it very clear that we did not want spicy mussels for my dad because he can't eat spicy, and his mussels were extremely spicy. The manager said he could replace with a different sauce. The rest of the food was good, but for the extremely expensive high prices, we expect amazing service and great food. Luckily we went on a day that had no live banda, because when there is, you can't even hear each other speak. The sushi was very disappointing.

The atmosphere is nice, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable for the portions. The service is very friendly and attentive. Once again, this is one of the restaurants that charges a 20% gratuity for large parties (we always leave a tip but hate being forced to). I honestly hate that it is not optional; they should let you know as soon as you arrive. Honestly, I didn't see any signage, but I could be wrong. Overall, it is not a bad place. I would suggest advertising the times when they have live music, since that was one of the main reasons we chose this place; unfortunately, we were too early.

Had a great time at el capitan, the food was incredible and our waitress was the sweetest. Will definitely be going back.

I’ve been to this location a couple of times now and it’s by far the most entertaining place I’ve been too. The food is amazing and the service is top tier. I would recommend Francisco he is the best server and knows how to entertain his guests. I always had an amazing experience with him so I would highly recommend asking for him.

Went on a sunday and had a great lunch , great atmosphere service more than expected , friendly and kind..drinks and the food were delicious. Oysters fresh which are a plus. And sushi was bomb . will be coming back soon
