El Campo Cantina

We love visiting Sonoita's wineries and local restaurants. El Campo Cantina is an awesome bar/restaurant that serves amazing pizza. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommended if in Sonoita.

I went in expecting a fancy pizza place because of the local notoriety of the owner/chef and his amazing culinary background and creations. That's the reason I drove an amazing scenic ride to an out of the way local secret gem!! Great for outdoor enthusiasts and foodies. This place gives you all the craft of high end culinary chef prepared meals in a super comfy show up in muddy shorts dining room. The night I visited there was karaoke with some fairly decent participants. Sage was keeping up great service at tables while also tending a full bar. The place was super clean and patrons and staff were very warm and friendly. On this visit there was not a dessert option and although I was disappointed with that it actually will make me return for an amazing made in house dessert to go with me

Been to El Campo Catina several times. Like the interpretations on 'traditional ' pizza and canzone. The brisket tacos were great. Nice salad menu. Nice addition to the Sonoita restaurant scene.

We picked this cute place on our Sunday drive, so glad we did ! We almost went to the Brewery across the road but opted for a small and cozy place instead. The second we walked in the bartender warmly welcomed us and brought water to our table. He explained the menu and drink options. This place is cozy and decorated nicely and sparkling clean 🧼. Our food was delicious and my craft IPA from a brewery in Padagonia just down the highway was sooo on point ! Myself being in the beer and hospitality industry gave the rating on a complete spectrum of the essential ingredients that make a fantastic experience! If you are in the area or just looking for something unique give these guys a try !

The area has needed a good, small local restaurant, and here it is! I had the Mexican Cheese Soup and the Prinsna and they were both brilliant. My new go to for good food and cold beer!!
