El Camino Nuevo

I am from NM and have lived in Texas for the last 10 years. We were recommended this restaurant and can't say enough! By far one of the best New Mexican places in Ruidoso. I had the chile rellenos and they were real actual green chiles and not peppers. My husband who is a Ruidoso local had the chile con carne. He was a huge fan to say the least. The service was fast and friendly our server was very nice and gave recommendations. The sopapillas with honey tasted like my grandmas; homemade and nostalgic. The prices were excellent and I can't recommend you go there if you are visiting Ruidoso! You can't beat family owned and operated.

Traveling with my husband and two daughters, just sightseeing! Stopped in to get a quick bite and everything was amazing! We had the best server we’ve had in a very long time, she was super sweet and very attentive!! I wish I wouldn’t gotten her name to refer to others! The food was delicious in addition to being very affordable! The atmosphere was also very family friendly!! 5/5 stars all the way around, I would definitely go back!!

Amazingly delicious food. Ordered the bean tacos, guacamole tacos, guacamole salad, and bean burrito. We don’t do dairy and the kitchen absolutely accommodated us. The green chili salsa is spicy and flavorful. The beans and rice were also really delicious. We will definitely be going back. While we were waiting for our to go order, we went and had a drink at the bar. They have a full bar with lots of mixed drinks options and lots of draft beer options as well. Highly recommend this beer place.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed fresh, crispy tortilla chips with a nice and hot salsa. My Cadillac margarita was tasty. We had carnitas for dinner....did not disappoint. The flan for dessert was sweet and light. A perfect ending for our meal. Our server was pleasant. We will definitely be going back to this place. An added bonus is their covered patio is dog friendly.

My dad really enjoys this place and was excited to take me. The service was good, very attentive and friendly. The food was fast, but it was so so for me. It wasn't bad but was very much lacking in flavor. I needed a lot of salt and pepper. Could've just been an off day as my dad enjoyed his.
