Overall, the service was good, but we waited a little longer than usual, but the food made up for it. It was GOOD! We ordered Pupusa Combo, 2 cheese pupusa with rice and beans, 3 toco de pollo (chicken), and an order of platanos.

Trust the reviews. Food is pretty good but took about 15 minutes just for someone to bring us the menu. Then an hour to bring out the food. They only have 1 server on a Saturday and 1 cook. Server was running around to each table and forgetting to bring what we asked for. Also editing this, over charged us, prices online and on menu are way different, $19 for fried plantines?? It says $13.39 online.

I’m currently in the restaurant eating with my family, and we are a big table. We called ahead to make a reservation and everything was great until we started ordering. The drinks took forever and we had to keep reminding the waitress about them. After we ordered our food and it started coming out she confused our order with another tables and the food that was brought out was ICE COLD!!! It’s been an hour or so and only some of us have eaten and we are still missing some orders from our table. I think they need to hire another waitress or a bus boy and maybe new kitchen staff as well. We asked the waitress what was going on and she said that the cooks are new and she has to make the pupusas as well as serving people, I think they need to hire more staff to accommodate the demand. I love El Buen Gusto, so now that they open a second restaurant closer to Antioch, I was super excited! Food is the same quality which is great.

Came with my family and the drinks took long to receive them. Everyone but my son got their food and had to remind the waitress. The pupusas were too oily and no flavor. Nobody checked on us. The waitress sucked. The guy there was slit more helpful and nice
