GUATEMALA 🇬🇹 Excerpt from Eat the World NYC: The Guatemalan offerings at this address have went through quite a transformation over the past year. After the old flower shop went out of business in early 2018, the shop eventually became somewhat of a corner store for Central Americans despite its mid-block location. It had some trinkets and a few groceries, but seemed to be mostly used for people to send remittances and otherwise back home. Eventually a sign showed up outside with the simple offer of chuchitos, the wrapped-and-steamed masa delights very similar to Mexican-style tamales. With a crisp new Guatemalan flag in the window and no other outward facing signage, it was hard to resist coming in to check it out. The food is delicious Love the Chile’s rellenos, they are the best. Its my favorite with pan Francés. The Caldo de Res is really good I love that they don’t put to much salt, so I can add it on my own with fresh tortillas. The Chuchitos the tamales Are something I recommend, I love them. All the products from Guatemala , Honduras , El Salvador and Mexico are amazing 🥰🥰🤤🤤

I had such high hopes I have not seen my family in years and when I found out there was guatemalan food near me I was excited to eat and show my co worker the delicious food my country has to offer but I am sorry to say I was not happy I ordered tamales it was of it was in a pot of water too long. I never got my chipilin my atol de platano my co worker didn't get her tacos and the food I did order look if they just threw it in a rush in the bag etc seriously there arent many guatemalan restaurants so you would think they would take pride in the food they make Maybe this was my experience but for my first time not happy at all do better 🇬🇹😪

Very good,they gave a smile soul the food git good taste I like this place ,I will remember this place make me happy in my vacation days!
