El Barril Two Mexican Restaurant

First time here since the new owners and I dined in. The service was pretty good the gentleman was very polite and checked in often to see if I needed anything, he took my order within the first 10 minutes of arriving and giving me the menu ect. And my order came out in about 10 to 15 minutes after ordering. I ordered the torta especial and is was beyond what words can describe, the different meats were seasoned perfectly, the bread was very fresh and delicious, everything about it was great, it was big enough you could split it with someone if you wanted too. I would highly recommend trying this place out you won't be disappointed and keep in mind that fresh made food takes a little time to prepare so the little wait is worth every bite. If you want food thats fast and taste like crap go

I am new to the area, and tried El Barril for the first time today. I have eaten at about 5 Mexican restaurants since I moved to the QC area, and this one was definitely the best. I had the Pastor Mexican Style Tacos. They were so good. Everything tasted fresh, and these tortillas are amazing. The pastor has a sweetness to it that I really enjoyed. Service with a smile, and the prices are good considering how fresh and tasty the food is. I moved here from California, and I am picky when it comes to Mexican food. This place is a winner!

Driving through with the family we stopped at this little jem in the middle of nowhere.. Cambridge illinois. Hungry and thirsty we stopped and we ordered and were left with filled bellies and well a little drunk. Thankfully we had a designated driver cause we still had a long drive to go. The food was on point and the beers were super cold and not flat. I would say it was the 1st time we did not boxed anything to bring home. Eduardo the manager was alone doing it all. Bartender, waiter, server and he had my drinks out in a minute followed by the food in about 15 mins. He was very professional and the place and restroom was squeeky clean. I highly recommend it. The decor was on point and it was lit and bright. I definitely highly recommended.

We were waited on quickly, despite a couple large groups, the steak tacos, and enchiladas with queso were awesome! Wait staff checked on us frequently. The atmosphere is cheerful, bright and clean. We will be back to try more tasty menu items! 🌮🌮🌮

My first order was carry out. I am usually not a fan of the beans and rice sides. Other restaurants put effort in main dishes NOT El Barril. I ordered a taco dinner and with the sides the meal was exceptional! We will return, having carry out is very handy.
