First time going really enjoyed it. My wife got the over stuffed burrito and I got the taco salad and we were not disappointed

This is my only go-to for authentic Mexican food in Poughkeepsie. I’ve been enjoying their food since I moved to the area in 2019 and they were amazing during COVID in supporting the local community. My fave is the sopes and order them regularly. I’ve really enjoyed how they’ve continued to do well and are consistent year after year.

Such a great restaurant! I ordered so many amazing dishes: the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, chicken chimichanga, birria tacos, chips and guac, and tres leches churros. We all got different aguas frescas, and I had the mango one. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere felt local, traditional, and full of good vibes. The desserts were a perfect finish. I highly recommend!

With a horrendous cold, I needed some really good chicken soup. My go-to here s a large chicken tortilla soup with avocado. It is a substantial portion at a really good price. Everyone who works in this family-run restaurant has been warm and friendly. I have been coming here for at least a dozen years, trying many of the dishes on the menu. All delicious. Highly recommend!

Vegans! You’ll love the Al Pastor chimichanga. I am sure their other vegan options are also delicious but this chimichanga blows me and my non-vegan husband away. It’s so flavorful! It’s one of our favorite spots to pick food up from and we do it often. So good!!!
