El Autentico Restaurant

The service was great. I had a hard time finding it because they changed the awning to a brown one now. It’s a small hole in the wall. There’s absolutely no parking. The juices were good. So was the food.

Place has gotten ridiculously expensive over the years . Water is $2 when the deli next door has it for $1. The smallest container of white rice is $5 ( 6 with tax ) and 3 slices of plantains not even pieces I’m talking slices thinner than a slice of tomato cost 4.75. Good food but the price is outrageous better off taking a 5 min walk down to Steinway and getting food for a reasonable price. Portion slices have also gotten small while the price went up

I have always bought food from this place and never received a plate like this. This was almost empty. Very disappointed.

Their empanadas are HUGE! The chicken empanada was the tastiest I have ever had and inexpensive. Its 1.50 for a massive empanada- see how large it is relative to my thumb! The service was really nice too and the shop is warm and cozy with delicious smells. Im already craving more…..

The Colombian food here is some of the best in queens. Portions are large, flavorful and fairly priced. Restaurant is clean and the workers are nice. There’s not a lot of seating.
