El Arriero Mexican Grill

El Arriero Mexican Grill is one of several Mexican restaurants in the town of Miami, OK and located on Route 66. When my family and I eat from here we order take out on Taco Tuesday for their $1 taco special. Even when ordering tacos to go, the food still comes with chips and salsa. The tacos are not street tacos, which I find disappointing, yet many enjoy them and they are still well-seasoned and tasty. We have never eatten in-house so I cannot speak on what that is like from experience. Yet when ordering to-go still expect atleast a 15-20 minute wait. If you want a good quesadilla, dont come here.... I got 3 different ones here (2 this time in pictures) and they where limp and felt like they weren't grilled at all, flavor was meh but I was also told they where full quesadillas with 2 tortillas each and only one was, the other was mostly just a pile of lettuce/rice in a tin for over 12$.

This place is always the Best! We drive from Grove just to eat here, and the outside eating area is awesome—perfect for kids and big groups! They have shade that can be drawn down, and the drinks are excellent and affordable. Try all of the specialty sauces and salsa they make. If you like spice, they for sure have you covered 👌🏼 the only reason I haven't left a review sooner is that we wanted to keep it a hidden gem for ourselves!

Great food, friendly staff and quick service. The salsa is the best in town. Not to spicy and perfect with the chips. The frozen Margaritas are great as well. Enchiladas, taco salads, nachos and tamales just to name a few are great dishes for lunch or dinner.

We had a large party for a birthday this evening, our server was a guy named Jose , I have to say, he rocked it and made everything fun and perfect. Food was great and they accommodated our large party. Thank you!
