El Angel Food To Go

It’s a little shack along the side of the road on the way to the bird preserve but the food was surprisingly good and very affordable. I had the fish and shrimp plate (Plato combinado pescado y camarones) which was a bargain at $12: three fillets of fish and a half dozen shrimp (I had already eaten most of them in the picture) over a bed of Spanish rice plus French fries, a tiny salad, and two slices of toast. It was fried perfectly. So if you don’t mind eating fried fast food on styrofoam, it’s great! We had 8 people and they whipped up our food right away in about 25’. It all looked cooked from scratch. This is a food truck. Cash only. I had the Mexican plate ($10) and it was outstanding! You can call your order in, but they only speak Spanish. No tables. Take out only.

Amazing food from a roadside stand. We went multiple times while camping in area.
