Best Authentic Puerto Rican food you can find anywhere in the Midwest! It was a bit of a wait but the food is FRESH and worth it. The food is hard work (we know from personal experience). The owner made 4 separate trips to drop the food off to our car in the rain AND talked to us about the love and passion he has for the restaurant and the cuisine. 10 out of 10 service and food. We are full!

I drove 30 minutes in winter to finally get to the location and try the food and when I tell you, it did not disappoint, I promise you it did not disappoint. I absolutely will be back. It feels so nice to have a variety of Hispanic food in the community and to finally see an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant here! Feel like I heard the Coquis talking to me in every bite haha. Looking for some good Arroz con Gandules for the Benito Bowl. Remember this place from a TikTok video and woe, its tastes so good. The little Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 really tops its off. Great service and can't wait to come back to try more of their good.

Highly Recommend! Food is delicious and fresh, a lot of must try items. The owner is great, always there taking care of the customers and orders. Wonderful family business sharing the great flavors of Puerto Rico. Recommend giving El Amanecer a visit!
