El Agave Mexican Restaurant

Awesome service and great food and drink! We ordered the street tacos and fajitas. The flight of margaritas didn’t last long and I forgot to take the picture before. Make sure to stop by if you are in the area! The infused margaritas are THE BEST

Inside is perfectly Mexican. Bright lively colors. Tons of seating. Clean and well spaced dining area. Huge menu with all the traditional favorites. Food was served quickly. Margs come in two sizes and were very good. Service was a little slow, but not problematic. Casual. Consistently good food. Good portions and reasonable prices. Recommend if you like authentic Mexican.

We decided to drive from Eureka to try something different than the Mexican places there. Worth every second of the 10 minute drive. The food is excellent. The taco beef was much better than the typical watered-down browned beef. It had a good seasoning to it. Street tacos (chicken) good. "Would have em again" says my wife. "The best chimichanga I've ever had " the 1st chimichanga my daughter has ever had. She says she will get it again next time.

Spouse and I had walked Shaw Nature Reserve for Mother's Day weekend and we're looking for lunch other than fast food. Spouse found El Agave on Maps. Seating (spring 2024) was either inside or out - we chose inside. Food and service were both excellent. Spouse had fish tacos; I had chile rellenos. Both were good. Facilities clean. Ample parking. No complaints.
