El Agave Mexican Cuisine

I loved the sauce, but the food was pretty good. They could use more flavor but all n all nice experience. I wasn't pleased with the slight crunch in rice, it seems to be under cooked. 6/10

First time eating here... Really cool atmosphere inside. Delicious fresh made chips n salsa (3 different types). Nice selection of Mexican Sodas. Really tasty chimichangas served with rice and beans. We'll definitely be back again!!

One of my favorite go-to meals in Freehold! 🙌 🐟✨ This time I switched it up and sat down for the Fried Tilapia… WOW! Crispy on the outside 🍴, tender & juicy inside 🤤, and plated beautifully with fresh sides 🥑🥗. Every bite was a knockout. 💯 💃🇲🇽 Between the consistent shrimp tacos and that amazing tilapia, El Agave is truly a gem 💎. Absolutely loved this place! The staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was exceptional, and the ambience truly transported us to the heart of Mexico. On Friday, December 30, 2024, my family and I were in the Freehold area for a family activity. Since we were all hungry for dinner, we decided to eat some Mexican. El Agave was close by and had the highest ratings. After entering the restaurant, you can see that inside is very colorful and filled with culturally rich items. The food took some time to come out. I never had red rice before. However, I really enjoyed my entire meal. While other Mexican restaurants are skimming the patrons on the meal portions with increase prices, I felt this was not the case here.
