Customer Reviews
I came to Ekko's Greek Deli because my friend recommended. We walked into the Valero gas station and this restaurant is being part of a convenience store. We had our food takeout. I didn't like the bun being soggy. But just okay. I'll try eat it at the restaurant next time.
I was halfway through my gyro when I discovered a long hair tangled up in the chicken. It was intertwined in the meat, which means it happened during preparation. Needless to say, it completely ruined my appetite. I tipped the guy expecting at least basic food handling standards. Finding something like that in the middle of my meal is gross and unacceptable. Thanks for the unforgettable experience. I’ll be taking my appetite elsewhere next time.
The worst falafel I’ve had in my life (& yes, I’ve eaten plenty in Greece). I made the mistake of ordering it on wheat not realizing it would be American wheat bread. That shouldn’t even be an option at a place serving Greek food. The 3 falafels were small & dry. The price of $9.99 is a total rip off. Definitely never going back again.
Decent gyro , customer service was ok … I waited to be helped because the guy was on his phone, but overall a convenient place to pick up a quick bite. Spent $10ish
Located on the side of a gas station and inside its small store, this place is a true "hole in the wall." The decor outside is almost nonexistent, and it’s clear the passion goes into the food, not the furniture. This place is a hidden gem. The falafel sandwich was fantastic, crispy outside, moist and flavorful inside. And the gyro is the real star: tender, well-seasoned meat with a great tzatziki on the side. The food is cooked with care and passion, and the prices are more than fair. It's not for a fancy night out; it's for when you want excellent food that feels homemade and doesn't break the bank. I'm so sorry, I don't have another picture to share. The food smelled and looked so good, I just ate it without thinking.
