I actually knew the owners Mr.Camp and Mr. Stokes. I traveled from Key West to help with getting the house in order after they had purchased it. They also owned another house across the street where I stayed during the time we got things in order. It was truly a beautiful house that they restored to the best of their ability. I still remember the market down the street called Emory's grocery. I met some beautiful people in this little town. Angie Chavis if you see this look me up on Facebook.
The place is old and rustic but home, loving and inviting. Shirley & Frank are amazing hosts. The place is very clean and has everything you need for a nice stay in Ehrhardt. They are very accommodating with the food choices. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy and Shirley made her breakfast special. Now when we travel to Ehrhardt to visit family, my daughters only request is that we stay at the Ehrhardt Bed & Breakfast. A nice place to get away from it all. Don't let the outside view fool ya, It is wonderful inside. I highly recommend Ehrhardt Bed & Breakfast.
I loved staying at Ehrhardt Hall! The antique furniture, the high ceilings, the history! Shirley and Frank are wonderful people, so personable and friendly. It was less than 10 minutes from our friend's home, so it was the perfect location for us. Homemade breakfast was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!
Kind of out of the way but well worth the drive. Small town with very few dinning choices but thanks to Shirley you can eat at the house. An extensive menu and great preparation made for a super meal. We were able to dine in our very large and comfortable room which was very romantic. The Victorian era Federal style house has lots of character and charm. It is filled with many great antiques as you would expect in this grand 115 year old home. Frank has his hands full keeping up with the maintenance and I'm glad it's him and not me! Located just a short drive off of I-95 in southern SC and a great value make this BnB a nice choice. We'll be back when we're in the area again.
Ehrhardt Hall Bed and Breakfast Inn is about an hour and a half drive west of Charleston, SC. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and filled with antiques. We stayed in the Drayton Library Suite with a huge 4-poster bed, dining area, kitchenette, and sunken whirlpool tub. The owner/hostess served us a fantastic candlelight dinner in our room for our anniversary. We highly recommend this B&B for quality, great hosts, and fantastic service. This Inn is located in a small off-the-beaten path town so don't go to Ehrhardt, SC expecting any attractions, just enjoy the Inn.
