Edgefield County Library

We were grateful to know that there was even a library in this tiny town, we all got a library cards which is a plus, but for education for essays for my kids at school to education section is very low an limited, I was looking for more nature books and DVDs, but they had no selection of DVDs for nature and their book selection was very little, I would definitely suggest more books on nature national geographics would be nice, in more resources for school projects and doing essays on presidents would be a good thing to have! They do have a couple computers I don't remember if it was maybe 8 or less, the pros was the staff was very friendly and very helpful on helping me look up a transcript to print out.

Noticed more staff here which is a plus. I love their selection of DVDs and audiobooks. They have more newer selections than Aiken library. Under ABBE I would recommend checking out each libraries catalog and see what they have. Internet lags alot. Very few computers. I rather go here than Johnston, bc here they are always open and available. Best of luck. I noticed it smells better inside too..maybe they shampooed the carpet?

Everyone on staff is nice but the Hispanic looking young lady. She seems to have an issue with older people and likes to correct any minor thing. People just speak a hi greeting will be reprimanded to use a low voice. This is only one of the repromands i have seen her do. Seems she also picks and chooses whom to reprimand. Some can come in and speak with a natural voice and its ok.

Very quiet and discreet. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The girls at the front desk were very nice and helpful and friendly.
