Customer Reviews
While I was still in the area, out for a morning walk I tried this place for breakfast. Nothing big or fancy just eggs bacon toast, with fruit. Everything was tasty, they had plenty of great bakery items to choose from, also they had free samples on the counter for u to try. Had a nice atmosphere as well.
Lovely bakery with a variety of different treats. I got the orange coconut roll and a batch of heat and serve cinnamon rolls. The orange roll had more of a buttery taste than orange and the cinnamon rolls could have used more cinnamon mixture between layers but they were still wonderful! There are no gluten-free options aside from macarons
What a great gem of a bakery! There’s ample seating inside - and it’s absolutely gorgeous, to boot. The coffee is quite good, but the real star of the show is their baked good. Recommend going with a group and ordering lots of things to split!
I am done with Edgar’s! They do not stand behind what they sell and just simply offer an apology. I have been a loyal customer for many years, and I can honestly say that after the last cake I ordered, I will not be back. I ordered a caramel cake for Thanksgiving, and it was unusually dry. After sending two emails, I finally received a call back with excuses and an apology. Overall, I am very disappointed in Edgar’s.
I was born and raised in the neighborhood and have been going to Eggers since I was a kid. I live in NYC now, so I always stop by when I’m home. This past Sunday I picked up cupcakes to bring home for someone special, but after trying one, they tasted stale and not fresh, and I didn’t feel comfortable bringing them. The quality just isn’t what it used to be, which is really disappointing because I’ve always loved this place.
