This is one of those hidden gems where you feel like a welcomed family friend rather than just another guest. The Edelweiss Inn is an incredibly cozy and charming B&B right in the heart of Redfield. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a sense of warmth and tranquility that makes you feel right at home. The rooms are sparkling clean, thoughtfully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable for a good night's rest. I have to give a special shout-out to the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious! It’s an adorable, quiet old place with a lot of character. There are themed rooms which is cool. The flowers out front are beautiful and so is the backyard. The owners are kind and will to work around food allergies for breakfast. They have a really cute cat if you like animals also. I did not give five stars because the place is dusty, it could have been a bit cleaner in general, it was either too hot or too cold, the WiFi was spotty, and they didn’t tell us ahead of time that we wouldn’t have breakfast one of the days we were there. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

My wife and I were recently put up here by my mother, as the family house was overflowing at the edges a bit too much. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the “Beach House Room”, which proved spacious and comfortable. Not to mention, the tub is a good place to relax. Breakfast was exceptional. While my wife is rather petite, I’m rather a barrel waiting to be filled when it comes to food (who also loves to cook). So trust me when I say it was a delicious, sufficient, and good variety spread every morning—without fail. Personally, I loved the well seasoned hash browns and amply filled breakfast burritos the most (and recommend you loosen your belt before having a seat). We looked for B&B along US 281 and were very happy to find Edelweiss Inn. Our long day of driving ended with warm welcome, hot jet bath, comfy king bed surrounded with relaxing decor, all after a great meal at the recommended local La Cabana restaurant (open on Sunday). The morning coffee waiting in the common alcove was a lovely way to start the day and the breakfast was delicious in the spacious dining room - Gluten Free options too! We stayed three nights in the Beach House suite. Bed was fantastic. Room was immaculate. The food was second only to the kindness of our host Ray. The included pictures show the wonderful breakfast we were served promptly each morning at the time discussed the evening prior. Ray even moved breakfast up one morning as he knew we needed to be at a funeral. We will definitely stay here again. This B and B is perfect for couples, families, girls weekend and as prior review explained hunting groups.
