The food there is made-to-order, and reasonably priced! We had the elk burger, "elk plop" aka tator tots with cheese, and the Humboldt Wrap with grilled chicken and ranch. Portion sizes were great, and they take tap-to-pay, which was really convenient! If the weather had been nicer during our visit, we would've utilized the brightly colored picnic tables that are set up right next to the shack. Great little place!

Awesomeness all around! My husband and I both come from a small town in Northern California and work in the service industry and this was such a wonderful experience! We were on a road adventure from Brookings to Orick for my birthday lunch and found this sweet spot. Not only was the food fresh and outstanding but the small town vide and conversation made us feel at home. 🥹♥️ We.also live in a small town and we understand how important that feeling can be for costumers.. Burger and elk burger and quesdilla and the sweet lady even made out picky kid a grilled cheese..it was literally all fire!

This place is good for a quick, and satisfying bite. This snack shack delivers on classic fries and burgers without over complicating things. We had ordered chicken strips and fries (seagull’s nest) and a chicken burger.They were hearty and filling. The cheerful umbrellas add a fun, beachy vibe. Ketchup, mustard, and mayo stand like a condiment army on the counter.

Yummy food, more than we could eat. Their milkshakes are delicious! Clean tables outside and the lady's got a green thumb 👍 Oh, and she had FRESH baked goods for donation. Brownie and apple fritter were Yummy!!!

If you’re up in the redwoods or passing through and need a little comfort food, this is a great place to stop and get some fries, onion rings, hot dogs, tater-tots and ice cream. The ice cream scoops are enormous!! You can easily share a small between two or three people, they are very generous with their servings. Cute outdoor patio that’s great for kids.
