Eddy's Jerk Center

We found this place on a humble—but what a gem! We told Marie, the lead cook, that it was our first time there, but we were treated like long-lost relatives! That’s saying something because I’m Puerto Rican and my wife is Chinese—but to the people at Eddy’s were family! The food was amazing and the portions great! A few people were like, “Okay, that’s good! That’s good!” 😊 Next time we’re in Newburgh, we are DEFINITELY stopping in! LoveloveLOVE Eddy’s Jerk Center! I've been getting food from here since 2011-2012, food has ALWAYS been THEE BEST! Oxtail, Jerk chicken, Curry goat, Rasta pasta. Absolutely delicious! I used to pay $14 for a large oxtail with rice and beans. Over time, the medium became the large and the small became the medium. I was upset to see that also the prices skyrocketed. A large is now $30 which is only a medium but prices every where has gone up. I just bought some oxtail and curry goat tonight for dinner and the food is great and it's a decent amount of food for the price, given the times we're in. Everything else is great, the people that work there, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is nice, very cozy.

Tonight (12-28-24) was my first time eating at Eddy’s. I arrived approximately 7:30ish. I am basing my opinion on my experience only. When I arrived there was a gentleman cleaning up a bit. He welcomed me in immediately and apologized that the place wasn't organized due to him cleaning up. That didn’t bother me at all. In fact I like a restaurant that the workers make it their business to provide a clean environment for their customers. The restaurant isn’t huge in my opinion. In fact I thought of it as quite nice and cozy. However the place was filled with things that resemble the Jamaican culture. The restaurant has a large selection of beverages and bakery goods such as bread, bun, crackers etc. The menu was off to the right side of the wall and appeared to be visible. I was then greete

Nice clean place. Great service. Good food. Courteous staff. Love the pineapple (Eddy's Jerk Center)soda. Pleasant experience. Worth the trip from Plattekill to Newburgh.

Recently found this Awesome Jamaica Spot!!! The Food is Absolutely Delicious, Well portioned and well priced. Service with a Smile, I've visited 3 times and the Staff has always been pleasant and most helpful, I'm definitely gonna be a regular customer. Keep up the Delicious cooking!
