Eating Americana

Small restaurant in a strip mall, so not fancy inside or out. I had read other good reviews and finally tried it this week. Two thumbs up! Food is definitely homestyle or comfort food like po boys, pasta, meatloaf, fried chicken, etc. Prices range from $14 for a sandwich to $27 for salmon or seafood. I got the fried shrimp w/ garlic mashed potatoes, and was blown away - the 8 large shrimp were lightly breaded and fried just right- best shrimp I've had in years! There were only 2 other tables so the service was quick and excellent. Being in a plaza probably reduces traffix in which is a shame- this is truly high quality food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

WOW!!! My taste buds are in love! What a hidden treasure that I am so happy to have found. Salmon is out of this world. The perfect balance of the tomato basil cream sauce with the parmesan potatoes topped by perfectly cooked salmon is culinary art. The fried chicken is worth the 20 minutes needed for preparation. It is served piping, hot and full of flavor and bursting with juices. The service was very attentive without being invasive. Don’t judge this book by its cover. You will not regret giving it a try.

The place is located in an unassuming location but the food is legit. The fried chicken did take some time to come out because it is cooked to order. One of the best in Atlanta. Great dining place!

I called in advance to celebrate another milestone with guests of mine; trying out a new place. James, owner and chef, was relaxed and smooth with the accommodations. The location is misleading because one would assume regular basic food; which was not the case. The was 10/10 much better than your normal downtown brunch spots. Chris, our server was very pleasant and professional. Pivoting from my usual location picks; I made a great choice with this place.

An incredible surprise. Traveling to the Norcross area for business we were looking for a good meal. We took a chance after reading reviews and we are so glad we did. The food was Incredible! Service excellent and fast. This place is a gem. Due to location in a strip mall it appears they dont get much business, but they really should. Don't miss out on this incredible restaurant.
