Great tasting food. The fried won tons, the pork fried rice, and the shrimp & lobster sauce are the best in town. Also, they are very fast at getting the food out to you nice, fresh and hot. Large portions. 10-12-2022 Still the same, Excellent 👍 Yes I would recommend 2-1-2023: Still the same great quality 4-25-2023: 5 ⭐
Been coming here since I was 9. Im 33 now. They still treat me like a stranger. Think Ive finally outgrown them. I remember watching their daughter grow up playing piano for customers. We sent that kid to college wotu our neighborhood support and business ya know. I remember when they didnt have staff. But when I walk in and say hi and ur semi hostile and stare through me with glazed eyes and the food makes me sick and is way over priced its like... yeah this might not be the spot anymore. The owners have lost the plot. I hope they can find it because this place? It has memories. It has a soul and a community. The mistake you made was being here for 20 years and acting like ur still a "foreigner" we love yall. But I feel its not mutual. Go there. Eat. See if you like it. Personally? I
We were ready to like this place, but between the food and the state of the dining room it wasn’t great. Beat parts: our server was really kind, and my son thought his chicken fried rice was great (it was suitably bland for a picky little kid). The Po Po Platter was overdone, really oily, very dry/tough, and had no flavor other than “fried.” The shrimp lo mein had a decent number of shrimp but no flavor. Portion sizes were good, but for the price it was fair. The dining room looked more like a store room. Boxes everywhere, total mess. Maybe we just didn’t order the right dishes and caught them on a restocking night? But this was Saturday at 6 pm, so it seems strange.
One of the small, "hole in the wall/mom & pop" eateries that serves one of Albuquerque's BEST authentic Chinese food. You won't go away hungry. You may need to ask for a to go box or doggie bag. Good eats, you won't be disappointed. Been coming here for the last 10 years, same family owned, operating and cooking. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is my fav.
EF Chinese Restaurant Review - 4.7 Stars I recently tried the Happy Family Meal at EF Chinese Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. The dish was a delightful mixture of chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, and a variety of fresh vegetables. The flavors were outstanding, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy that left my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. This restaurant is definitely a spot to choose when you're in need of a satisfying meal. Highly recommended!
