Eastern Gourmet

Have not eaten here in 3 years since we moved away from Coopersburg. Used to be great. Not today. Spent almost $90 on DoorDash. Driver Jose missed part of order. Called restaurant & was told it was sitting on counter. Additionally, the Crab Rangoons were undercooked (had to airfry at home) & they were half the size of other local restaurants. Pork dumplings also half the size of other local restaurants. Asked for added wasabi with rainbow roll in online order & restaurant said they did not see this. Rainbow roll was good. House special friend rice was fair. They lost customers today, especially when fortune in cookie was the only highlight.

I usually don't have a complaint about this place and have been going here for a few years. Later the service is declining a bit. I just went in to pick up my order that was placed 33 minutes before entering the restaurant. I gave my order and the little girl who is usually up front right after I said that's it for the order told me it'll be ready in about 15 minutes so I hung up. I took an Uber in to pick up the food and the food wasn't ready and the little girl said she didn't talk to me. I even showed the employee at the front desk that I called eastern gourmet. I was put on hold instantly and when she came back I put my order in. If the employees can't handle taking more than one phone call at a time they should only be taking one order at a time.

First visit here. Enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice with chicken. Solid food. We will be returning again soon!

If you like 50% onions in your signature dish, this is the place for you. Most places use carots and broccoli too, but apparently they were out. It's worth the ride to Allentown or Quakertown for better Chinese Food. The only reason I went here is for convenience. The prices are high for what you get.

To say that we’re regulars to Eastern Gourmet would be an understatement. This is definitely one of our favorite dining out restaurants in the area. The food is excellent, the portions substantial, and the prices very reasonable. And the staff is extremely welcoming and attentive. Can’t go wrong here!
