What a mediocre sandwich. We had one of the turkey and their cutlet special of the day. Both were very salty and otherwise bland. The bread was fine but there are much better sandwiches in the Raleigh area. Some adjustments to their recipes would make it a more attractive spot.
Great sandwiches! Easy to order with a QR code at the table. Food arrives quickly. Make sure to add curly fries to your order. You don't want to miss those! Good selection of beer and cider to go. Lots of seating. Family friendly. Close to other great restaurants and bars as well as an ice cream shop.
Located in the new Raleigh Iron Works. Customer service was great and the interior was nice and clean. I ordered the curly fries and they were cooked to perfection & seasoned perfectly. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and was disappointed as the chicken was cooked good, but lacked flavor and not enough sauce, causing the sandwich to be very dry. They also had a lavender lemonade (not sure if it’s seasonal), but it was a 100 out of 10!!!! Recommend for it to be on the menu all the time. Definitely would come back and try a different sandwich.
I’ve eaten at this place a handful of times and have really enjoyed it. The sandwiches are great, and they have some of the most affordable beers and drinks I’ve seen in ages ($2 beers and $3 tall boys at normal price?? 👀). Ordering at the table is super convenient and service is usually pretty quick. I usually opt for sharing one of the more interesting (one with a spicy or interesting sauce or flavor combo) hero sized sandwich (plenty big to share) with the curly fries, and the salads are great too. I will say I’ve tried a bite or two of some of the “regular” sandwiches my friends ordered and they seemed kinda bland and dry for my taste, but some people might prefer that.
This is one of my favorite spots to grab a sandwich. I love the specials. not to mention the sweet potato tots- dip them in the spicy ranch it’s a fun spot to go to chat with friends and have a beer/ sandwich! sandwiches i’ve tired and loved! - vodka parm - spicy gabagool - amazing - all american ron - the jane - amazing - dagwood - ceasar a diavolo - amazing - clifford’s cutlet - the jet - eggplant parm - amazing - the parm - amazing and many more no longer on the menu I will say sometimes it is overcrowded with kids. and definitely a little pricey. but i’ve always enjoyed my food! so definitely check it out :)
