A Hidden Gem of a library. Consistently quiet unlike some libraries in New York City that have become centers of loud social gatherings. The staff are amazing. Thank you ladies for all you do

Why are these people on lockdown over a year after COVID? It's a PUBLIC library...or it should be! And what business opens at 10AM and closes at 5PM on a weekday? Is this what my taxpayer $$ going to? C'mon! Do better. Open up and expand your hours.

The East Syracuse Free Library could fit in a shoe box and yet, feels so much more large than its modest space. I needed two signatures notarized and on Friday, a notary awaited to help with that service for free. Call the library to be sure of time. In a perfect world, the city could make some use of the green space of the sports fields that surround the library to add gardens and maybe fountains, koi ponds and reflecting pools. The librarians keep an eye on the door, ready to help, ready to help right away.

Great little library with a great area for my pre k age kids. I feel lucky to be able to bring them here, everyone is so nice!
