East of Texas

We went for the first time last night, and busy is an understatement. It was PACKED. We waited about 45 minutes to order from the parking lot to the register. Staff were friendly and efficient. Once we had our food it was all worth it. We had burnt ends and pork belly. Both were spectacular. The salsa was also a hit chips were fresh and the elote ‘salad’ was amazing. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!

The barbecue was delicious—flavorful, well-cooked, and super satisfying. The space itself is great too, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, so it never feels cramped. The service was awesome from start to finish, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. It’s an easy spot to hang out, enjoy good food, and have a great time.

East of Texas BBQ absolutely delivered! I tried the burnt ends and sliced brisket, and both were incredible — tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking here. The service was spot on too — friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. It’s the perfect combo of great Texas-style barbecue and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow, how did I not know about this place until now. Some of the best BBQ in the area. Wonderful staff, fast service and great food. You have the love the free cotton candy for dessert! My favorite was the brisket and chicken. But the pork and sausage were both delicious. I will be back!

Great little gem hiding away in the Winston-Salem city limits. Very down to earth, relaxed atmosphere. Feels like it's a great place to unwind with friends. Large selection of drinks and great food that you can enjoy inside, or at there large outdoor area. Just walk in, grab a menu, go up to the counter and order. Then grab your order and enjoy. They even have their own "market" area where you can purchase items to take home. My girlfriend and I both had the brisket, which was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.
