Customer Reviews
The flavor of the food was limited, primarily relying on spice packets, which is not perfect idea for such a palce. Unfortunately, this significantly affected the overall experience, so the maximum rating I can give is 3 stars.
Awful “Chinese” food.Has Always been tasteless. You really can’t find a place to get just Tasty fresh Americanized Chinese food anymore. At least I can’t find it and I’ve stopped looking for it. I know this East Meets West opened up a bunch of places in Queens in Long Island. I see a lot of them have closed. The Rockaways one will stay open because people in the Rockaway’s are not exactly foodies. Mostly city workers.let me elaborate a little bit. Used to love when I was a kid getting shrimp and lobster sauce my dad always ordered it.The shrimp and lobster sauce over here besides lacking in flavor the shrimps I have to assume they’re frozen because at least two of them were so mushy that it was Not edible. The fried rice the roast pork, fried rice, mushy no texture. The general tso shrimp
Never ordering from here again. The boneless spare ribs were dry , hard and chewy & sauceless. The rice had Zero flavor didn’t taste anything. The fried dumplings soggy and falling apart. Started to question whether or not I was served old food.
Looks like they reset their profile just to still have terrible reviews pile up again. You guys used to be good. The food now is dry, overpriced, and sucks. How you made General Tso chicken taste like cardboard is beyond me. AVOID. Uptown prices with downtown quality.
I asked for steamed chicken and Chinese vegetable and when I called a giggling teenager answered offering to make it over. Take my order correctly the first time especially when you repeat it to me like your doing me a favor!
