Love the library! Bright, clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate. More and more great programs and events for all ages every time a new schedule comes out!

EH Library lacks accessibility options for folks who aren't able to go in person, truly disappointing that there isn't problem solving available for residents to utilize this resource when they can't make it into the library.

I’m very impressed with this library has so much to offer it is community focused, and resource oriented. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable. They specialize in different fields of programs that the library offers. When you walk in you want to do what you came for, but you can’t help notice how the library is full of artifacts, history, and you end up wandering and exploring the library. As you are Looking at the artifacts and paintings, reading around,and indulging in the atmosphere. This library is a museum at the same time , very unique experience. I learned a lot about the library, Connecticut river valley and historical Connecticut. The remodelled library has a new feel and is reasonably spacious. Separate reading areas for kids, teens and adults which is awesome! A good selection of textbooks (e.g. for general reading and STEM) and a really nice "maker space" for 3D printing. Also, ample parking.

Came to this library because I had an important training video call for a new job that I was recently hired to. I had been unemployed for months prior to this so as you can imagine, this was very important for me. I asked a staff member if I could reserve a room and so she said I could use the rare books room. I got myself set up in the room and waited for the call. Minutes later, a woman walked into the room. I did not say anything for some time because I assumed she would only be in there for a short time but after about 20 minutes or so I was about to get on the call so I let her know that I would need privacy believing that since I reserved the room, I would have it for the allotted time.
