Earnest B's BBQ

Definitely THE BEST service at a restaurant of any kind. Love that you can smell the smokers when you’re walking up but it’s clean and neutral inside the restaurant. The catfish is unreal, the cornmeal coating is crispy but the catfish is so flaky and buttery underneath. Also tried the rib tips plate and was equally delicious. Will be back!

If you’re looking for incredible local barbecue, this place is an absolute must. The smoked chicken was easily some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with that rich, smoky flavor that shows they really know what they’re doing. What truly sets this spot apart, though, is the owner, Earnest. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll meet. He takes the time to greet customers, check in on their meals, and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell he puts his heart into both the food and the community. Great food, great people—can’t ask for much more. Highly recommend!

In Texas for the day and was determined to find great BBQ. We were completely blown away with this spot. The food was amazing and Earnest himself insisted on rolling out the red carpet for our first Texas bbq experience. Best ribs and catfish any of us have ever had! Places and people like this don’t exist in very many places. Glad we found this one.

I’ve eaten a lot of Bbq and Earnest B’s rates near the top. The seasoning and bark along with the smokey taste and smell is top notch. The potato bun’s were fresh a and really added to the experience. My mouth waters just thinking about it. If you’re in the Frisco area, it’s a must stop for lunch or dinner. I would rate the taste and flavor of the brisket over Hutchins which I like a lot. Go try it and you won’t be disappointed.

OMG this place is soooo good, I’m sad that I’m just now trying it, considering they’ve been in business 10 years. The staff was very nice, the owner introduced himself as well he was extremely down to earth. I let him know I was from Baton Rouge so I’m no stranger to good seasoned food. This is hands down some of the best catfish in this area and it’s real catfish. I also tried the chopped chicken sandwich again, very flavorful and good. I can’t wait to return when I’m in that area again.
