Eagle diner

Food was hot and delicious and portions were great. Our waitress was super nice as well. We will be back!

Eagle Diner is a solid local spot in Hedgesville that offers a classic, old-school atmosphere with a welcoming feel. I stopped in for breakfast and tried the sausage gravy over biscuits, which was served in a generous portion and stayed hot throughout the meal. The menu is quite large, featuring everything from Mickey-shaped pancakes for kids to various Italian specialties and fresh desserts. While the staff was friendly and attentive, the service was a bit slow during the morning rush, so you might want to give yourself some extra time. It is a clean and reliable "greasy spoon" that provides good value for the price.

This place is amazing! Great food, fresh and served fast. Hub city breakfast plate is my favorite, it's like a sampler with everything: pancakes, eggs, sausages and potatoes. The place is very clean, that's important! And not to mention great quality of coffee. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised.

This was a nice visit. Overall the restaurant is neat, clean, and well-maintained. The service was pretty good but the food piled up as the timing of the meal was off. Long before we finished our salad or soup, the main course arrived at our table. Also, I was never offered a drink refill. Also, cleaning supplies are left in customers' view, which is a no-no. My salad was delicious and fresh. The main course was also extremely good and tasty with large portion sizes. The quality of the food was what prevented this from being a 3-star. I would gladly stop in here again.

First time visiting. Large portions, couldn't even see the bun on the fish sandwich! BTW, Chili cheese fries on the appetizer menu, definitely not appetizer portion, as the picture shows they are huge.. Friendly staff. Dessert to go.
