High quality northern west style Chinese food. Reasonable pricing. Owner is every friendly and helpful. Food tastes much better when dine in, for take outs or delivery I'd only give 3 star for food quality.
I visited this place on a snowy day, and they offered hot red date water—honestly the perfect drink for the middle of winter. The food was just as impressive: the Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles and the lamb paomo were both really authentic. Warm, comforting, and absolutely worth coming back for!
We had lunch here often even though it was a bit of a hike for us from DTJC. Service was efficient and friendly. Manager William always greeted us with a big welcoming smile. For appetizers, we liked the Lamb kebab and Pork leek & shrimp dumplings. The dumpling wrappers and filling tasted homemade and fresh. Loved their hand pulled noodles. We have tried the Pan fried noodles, LanZhou beef noodles soup, Braised beef noodles soup, and Zha Jiang noodles. All very good.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love this Xi’an-style Chinese restaurant! Their hand-pulled noodles are incredibly fresh, with just the right chew, and the spicy lamb bun is packed with bold, authentic flavor. Every dish we’ve tried so far tastes like the real deal—fragrant, spicy, and deeply satisfying. Compared to their Edison location, this one is on another level—better flavor, better texture, and a more refined balance of spices. If you’re craving authentic Northwestern Chinese cuisine, this place is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back again!
We had the lamb skewers and the basic noodles. The lamb skewers were a bit too heavily seasoned, with the powder sprinkled on a little excessively, but the fatty parts were fairly enjoyable. The noodles, however, were severely undercooked—almost to the point of being raw. The broth itself wasn’t particularly special either. The service wasn’t remarkable, but it was relatively quick.
