Damn. I have been looking for a good good bowl of wor wonton soup for a long time ever since the Pine Garden restaurant in Newark closed. I happen to be visiting relatives and was driving by after 9:00 p.m. looking for hot soup and a place to sit down and I saw the sign and thought well, why not? This turned out better because it was a really good won ton soup. A nice simple chicken broth, pork wontons, a lot of nice vegetables and some mushrooms, piping hot and it hit the spot. Good size wontons, not the ones where somebody puts in a half teaspoon of meat, but a nice chunky chewable soup spoon sized ball of pork meat wrapped up nice. They have other items on the menu. See the pictures below and the website itself which I intend to try in the future. While I'm not in San Francisco a whole
the food is fine; it’s very clear all their dumplings and XLB stuff are from frozen which is fine but i’ve def had better frozen brands LOL. the eggplant was pretty solid, honey sesame chicken was good, shanghai baby noodles were a good texture! best thing this place has to offer is portion size/value, but flavor wise it’s quite mid </3. not really any indoor seating; just designed for takeout!
one thousand times YES. came here for proximity purposes... but honestly might eat here for the rest of the trip and thankfully we can eat it again because the portions were HUGE and it barely looked like the 2 of us made a dent after stuffing our faces. the crispy honey sesame chicken is deliciously crunchy and addicting... shanghai chubby noodles hit the spot... and the crab cheese rangoons were packed with cream cheese and flavor then fried to perfection. the sauce on the chicken is made to order and wish we would have requested more- it's delicious!! definitely a good spot for take-out, since there aren’t many options for sitting inside. i cannot say enough good things about this place... all i know is that we'll be coming back.
Pretty darn good food. Finally stopped by after driving by for a couple of years and thinking that no one ever came here. First, it's now obvious that they do a lot of takeout business, and second, the food is really yummy. The spinach-mushroom bao bun is pretty decent, and the chicken and green bean entree has some really nice flavors happening. Will definitely come back to try more items.
Pretty solid stop for some quick Chinese food. We tried a number of things and all of it was solid. The Bao Buns look so perfectly formed that they could be straight from a frozen package. The Har Gow were our favorite dumplings, and the Four Seasons Chow Mein was really good and the quantity was generous.
