Dulces Delicias Bakery

I recommend Dulces Delicias with no reservations and will certainly be ordering from them again! I ordered a 10inch cake for my baby shower and was so incredibly pleased with the result!! It was one of the best cakes I’ve had in a long time and also very reasonably priced!! We went with a tres leches-like base with dulce de leche filling (I know it sounds rich, but for a Brazilian mama-to-be with a sweet tooth, it was simply divine!!) They also did a great job replicating my reference for a naked cake, which may seem simple, but is not always easy to accomplish.

Delicious desserts and tamales! The flan and tres leches cake were delicious and not too sweet. They have a few carts of other cookies and sweets. They also sell candy, ice cream, and other sweets. There is a free parking lot on site. I received great service! = )

I searched on Google for Pan de muerto and this place came up. I never find any so I called them. They said they had just made a fresh batch so I visited right away and I was super happy to have found a Mexican Bakery! With authentic Mexican sweet bread, candy, ice cream, coffee, cakes, sodas, juice, and even piñatas and folkloric dresses! It's a very rare find in northern Virginia let alone Falls Church or Tyson's. They were super friendly and I was able to chat with them about our culture. The coffee was excellent and their bread was amazing! I will be recommending this place to all my Mexican friends and family. Don't think about it, just go get amazing service. 🖤

Excellent service and even better cake! I called with a last minute, semi convoluted request for a gender reveal cake and the baker delivered exactly what I wanted. Annnd multiple guests asked where I got the cake from and noted “it was the best cake I’ve had.” The attached pictures do not do the cake justice. It was beautiful.

I ordered a tres leches cake for my son’s bday and it was one of the best we had in recent times….its a small bakery but one of the best near McLean….will def order again
