Duffer's Pub & Grille

We’ve eaten here several times before and have always had a really good experience, so this visit was honestly disappointing. I ordered the filet medallions for $38 and unfortunately the steak was very rubbery and had the texture of something that had been reheated or microwaved. Definitely not what you expect for that price point. That being said, our waitress was wonderful. She was very kind, attentive, and handled the situation well by bringing us something else when she realized the steak wasn’t good. We’ve had great meals here in the past, so this may have just been an off night. But based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend the steak. Ironically, the best thing we had all night was the pretzel.

My first time eating here was a great experience. The place was noisy, to my liking, the young lady greeted us with a smile and the young man who waited our table was kind and checked on our table often. I had the fried fish/shrimp with fries and coleslaw....it was delicious. I also had the calamari and it was the best l have tasted in a long time...crispy just the way l like it. Not over priced and a good serving of food as well. Can't wait to go back

Loved Duffers Pub & Grille in Oak Island, NC. We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were super friendly and helpful. They had a bunch of TVs so if you’re interested in watching sports, this is the place. The food was spectacular. Everything we had was delicious. we had the mussels casino, the bang bang shrimp, the Caswell salad, the pimento BLT and barbecue wings. They had a great selection of alcoholic beverages including different beers and wine. Will definitely go back when I visit.

Fantastic food and service! Get the bang bang shrimp appetizer. You won't be disappointed. Great restaurant with beautiful views of the ocean out front and the golf course out back.

Not the best. Food was good. But hearing your worker say a cuss word infront of my kids after handing us food walking in wasn’t the best. Sorry if we were a handful. But no need to treat us like that. Will not be back nor recommending this place. The server was nice. But then forgetting our app before our food wasn’t very appealing. But other than that it was okay. Just the whole cussing after giving us food to the point my kids hear it was not okay. Shout out to the blonde girl with the collared shirt on you made a “wonderful” impression on us for cussing infront of our kids. Our server was great. Other then that nah never again.
