Duck Donuts

Normally, Duck Donuts does a fantastic job and we love this location, but today's online order was a letdown. The donuts were picked up and found to be messy and unappetizing, completely lacking the care and quality control we usually see. Hoping this was just an anomaly!

It's great because you can see at a glance how the donuts are made, so you can tell how fresh they are. And you can taste warm donuts right after they're made. It's a place where you can taste freshness and warmth at the same time, and you can also enjoy various drinks such as warm coffee and milkshakes.

All donuts are made fresh to order, that’s what makes this spot very unique. You can also see the entire process live, and customize your donuts however you like. They have a wide selection of donuts and each one was delicious. The staff is extremely friendly, and the employee that helped me also spoke Spanish. The facility is clean, prices are very fair, and the location is extremely convenient

I was so happy to be able to come here on my birthday! I’ve been waiting for them to open for a long time in South Riding. The choices are incredible for donuts. Mariza was so patient and helpful when it came to taking my order and was so extremely friendly. It smelled so good when you walked in. You could almost taste the donuts. I did probably make my order pretty complicated as I went down the entire list of all their options.

Several reviews say $10-20, but that's supposed to be "per person," so I feel like it's reasonably the $1-10 category. Local owned! I couldn't wait to take a bite, so please excuse the photo 😅. Donuts came fresh, soft, and warm. They're made to order, and the bacon maple was amazing! No fake/preserved bacon like some other places give, and the bacon was juicy, not dry nor tough. I also got a coffee frappe- not too sweet!!!! It's a huge compliment, at least from me. Most donut places make them so sugary and difficult to pair with a donut, so I'm glad I caved in to my curiosity. Service was nice and I hope more people come here- would love to see this place stick around 💕💕.
