If I could give Duck Club Yacht Club 8 stars, I would—and here we are. I’ve been lucky enough to visit as a guest three times now, and every single time I walk away thinking, “Man, I need to buy a boat.” I don’t own one (yet), but the atmosphere, the people, and the whole vibe of the club make me want to be part of it. It’s welcoming without being pretentious, lively without being chaotic, and has just enough of that “exclusive getaway” feel that makes you forget you’re still in Missouri. Whether you’re there to relax, socialize, or just pretend you’re a boat owner for a day, Duck Club has a way of making you feel like you belong. One day I’ll pull up in my own slip—until then, I’ll happily keep tagging along as the boatless plus-one.
