My friend and I ordered a few things for lunner and were quite satisfied. She got the beef shank noodle soup with thin noodles + popcorn chicken $5.99 add-on promotion and a side order of fried pork shop. I got the pork chop noodle soup with flat noodles. The beef shank quality was really good (B/B+). The soup base tasted consistent with the former Fremont restaurant location. The thin noodles were standard fare but I personally think is the worst choice of the three noodle options offered at Duan’s. I would definitely recommend beef shank over the more popular beef brisket noodle. The pork chop was well-marinated and full of meat. One of my go-to places whenever I visit Oakridge and am craving Taiwanese cuisine at a reasonable price! I don't usually get food court noodles, but with Duan's, it always feels so fresh (both the noodles and broth) and retains heat super well especially since I'm a slow eater. If you're also craving popcorn chicken, their spring promotion right now is also a steal! (and super delicious!)

We ordered two beef noddle soups as delivery, and we only got prob 2 pieces of beef meat each bowl, the rest parts were burned fats. It was so gross and hard to eat them.

Mother recommended this restaurant since she went with a friend to try it out and really enjoyed the Beef Noodle Soup. We ordered a combo so I got to try the Beef Noodle Soup with Brisket and Tendon and the Tomato Beef Noodle Soup and they were both really delicious, the spices and aroma really elevated the Beef Noodle Soup. I was most surprised about the Four Seasons Milk Tea and Wintermelon Lemonade. Usually drinks, especially milk tea are too sweet, but these drinks were really good! The Wintermelon Lemonade Ive never seen anywhere else and it really balances the sweetness of the 冬瓜 and sourness of lemonade, and the Milk Tea was very delicious. It's a place worthy of a visit!
