Drift on Pine

We visited Drift on Pine in La Porte and had a wonderful experience. The food is excellent; we ordered the Mongolian Beef and the Drift Burger with fries, and both were delicious. The atmosphere is great—relaxed yet refined. We remarked that it would be a perfect place to stop after hitting the nearby bike trails. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this spot.

Food & Drink: I split two handhelds with a friend so I got to try the Goober Burger and The "Beef" sandwich. I asked our server, Desiree, to recommend a beer that went with the Goober Burger and she said she'd ask someone, and then recommended the salted caramel porter, which I ordered. With the first sandwich, I started with the house salad on the side, which was fresh and pretty sizeable. With the second sandwich, we got fries, which were simply awesome, so you can't go wrong with either choice. The Goober Burger has a complex flavor combination and was delicious, but it's on the small side, so splitting it didn't leave much to savor. Great experience. Melissa was our server. The biggest pretzel appetizer I’ve ever seen. Served with French onion, beer cheese and honey mustard. All were excellent. Nice views of the lake. My husband that always adds salt and pepper didn’t need it for his sandwich. Said the au jus was good but not necessary, the sandwich was that good! I had the kids pasta, again great. Music was fantastic Elton to Elvis, Maroon V, Shaboozie to Teddy Swims. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking .

The atmosphere is stellar. We had a lady’s night on a Saturday night. Made reservations for the 2nd floor - The Buoy. Had a great table looking out onto Pine Lake. It was lovely to be able to be outside and feel the breeze while also being out of the sun. Jack T. took care of us. He was super attentive and very sweet. We ordered the Crab Rangoon dip, Buffalo Sprouts, Salmon Salad, Mushroom & Steak Rigatoni, and had several different cocktails. Everything was super tasty but my favorite was the Buffalo Sprouts. We will definitely return. After dinner we had a ton of leftovers, put them in my car and headed up to the rooftop bar for one more cocktail and the best views of Pine Lake by far! We ended up being there for three hours. A good time was had by all!

Tried this place out last night! The atmosphere and vibe was great! Drinks were good! Great views of the water! Service was okay, messed up my burger!! Only took 30 percent off, and could not even eat it at the restaurant. Then the waitress wanted a 20 plus percent tip! My burger was so raw! On top of this it was our beginning of our anniversary weekend celebration! The manager apologized but it still did not make the situation that much better! Overall it was an okay experience!
