Drift Inn

Update, 11/17/25; I'm SO disappointed! This time I had the scampi and my husband had the chopped steak, both were overcooked, dry and chewy. (Scampi was NOT AMAZING ! The flavor was weird, and the shrimp were dry and stringy) our server, Morgan, couldn't have cared less. I do not recommend! We went here for dinner. My husband had the scampi, (which was amazing,) and I had the cob salad. Both were excellent! Our server, Catie, was awesome! Friendly and efficient! Great experience!

Very nicely restored rooms. Old historic building so no elevator, but a little exercise doesn't hurt to much. Restaurant and bar down stairs and is definitely worth eating at.

We stayed in the Frazier Room. The room and Henry’s at Drift Inn Dining where we had dinner were beautifully renovated. The staff was super friendly. Loved the historic references. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a great view of the Historic Wilson Theater.

Giving this a 5 Star - not because it is a high end place but because it the building is over 100 years old, the town super small and quaint and the overall cleanliness, hospitality and vibes we perfect for such a small town tucked away in southeaster Idaho! Such a funny beginning to our experience at the Drift Inn. I saw the beautiful glowing sign mounted to the First National Bank. I opened the door below and only saw a stair case in front of me and no front desk. So I called and asked where it was and she kindly said "just come into the bar". So we proceeded to go into the bar just behind the staircase and she said "Hi checking in?" It was so comical to us as we have never experienced a town of just 5.000 and this is just how it rolls there. So we get an actual key and proceed up the cr

Probably the best restaurant in town. Perfect location, being right off the square, always providing good food and good service. I would say that the peak of the dining experience is during summer when you can eat out on the patio with live music.
