DP CHEESESTEAKS

Our first time trying DP Cheesesteaks and we probably will not return. The cream Cheese Steak sandwich was not very Cream Cheesey, the bread was hard and tasted old and dry. The Pastrami sandwich said it came with pickles but I found it lacking, one bite had pickle, I looked and could not find any other pickles, it also said it had mustard and mayo and the mustard was very very minimal. it also had the hard stale bread problem. I understand places have bad days It sucks to have our first impression be so awful.

After craving a good Philly and wanting something quick for lunch I decided to stop in at DP Cheesesteaks. We were created by friendly staff who made some suggestions and took our orders promptly. So why only a 3 star rating? Well, ultimately the service is a 5, the atmosphere is a 4 and the food itself is a 3. I tend to weigh the food itself more than the other two. The food lacked anything special. It was fine, but nothing to write home about. Having traveled all over the US we found this place to be nice but lacking in flavor. The rolls (buns, bread, whatever you want to call it) were typical, nothing special at all. My guess is they are store bought, not made fresh in store. Three of us had dinner. We ordered 4 sandwiches. They are a good value and were filled with meat and cheese. The buns are tubes and aren't easy to keep the fillings in. The guy calling order names didn't quite speak English and murdered the names. I would try some of the other options. It was pretty good, but not "knock my socks off" great.

Haven't been here or any DP so we thought we would give it a chance. Got our order to go. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the mushroom pepper steak (biggest seller) and cream cheese steak sandwiches. Service was fast. Maybe 5 minute wait. We got home, took the sandwiches out and they were still hot. Very good flavor. Bread was not hard or chewy. Good mix of meat and spices. We got their creamy jalapeno dipping sauce. Highly recommend that! Took an already good sandwich to another level. We will have to come back again.

So delicious! The hot cherry peppers make everything amazing. The quality of the best is really good add that to an amazing staff that works quickly makes this a 5 start stop every time. We drive out of our way just to fill the craving!
