Stopped in for quick bite before a drive and all I can say is place is hands-down the best Dominican food I’ve ever had ! The rice and beans was top tier, the steak was seasoned, tender and juicy. Even the liver tasted so flavorful. Will probably go back for more sweet plantains alone and to try their mangu. I can smell, taste and feel the authenticity in every bite! The food was fresh, homemade Tamarindo drink deserves its own 5 star review! The new owner has really brought a welcoming, family-style vibe—even when you’re just picking up your order, you’re greeted with kindness and care, and the portions were very generous. Just tried Dona Lola’s kitchen for the first time and I have to say, PHENOMENAL! 12/10 across the board! First of all the food is fresh and well seasoned. I got two platters, one with rice and beans and stew chicken with potato salad and tostones. The other platter was white rice and a different kind of stew chicken and green salad. Let me just say….the chicken was FALLING OFF THE BONE tender! Their food tastes like it was made with love, this place is a gem and an absolute must try. Also tried the fresh passion fruit juice and omg tastes like I was in the islands! Not to mention they give large portions sizes, so it’s most definitely a bang for your buck! Visited earlier and left very very satisfied. Excellently seasoned meats, great portions, left super full with leftovers. Could not have asked for a better meal on this day.

The food here is great! I got some rice with corn and pork on the side. Prices are as good as the food. 🤭
